This page explains what personal data Unified Cloud Sensors, s.r.o. collects through unifiedcloudsensors.com, why, and what rights you have over it. We collect only what you submit to us directly through this site's Contact and Careers forms — nothing more.

2. What data we collect

unifiedcloudsensors.com does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of any kind. We only collect personal data that you choose to type into one of the two forms on this site:

We do not request or accept file uploads (e.g. CVs) through these forms at this time. If you attach one to a manual email reply instead, that exchange is handled as ordinary business correspondence, not through this website.

3. Why we process it, and our legal basis

We process the data you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry or application.

Contact form — processed under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract) or, where no contract is in prospect, Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding to inbound business inquiries).
Careers form — processed under Art. 6(1)(b)/pre-contractual measures, to evaluate you as a candidate, and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in recruitment).

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it to any third party.

4. How your submission is handled

When you submit either form, your data is sent to a backend service we operate (AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway, hosted in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) AWS region) which:

sends one notification email containing your submission to our internal inbox, and
sends one automatic confirmation email back to the address you provided,

both via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). Your submission is not written to any database. The backend itself retains no persistent copy — once the two emails are sent, the only copies that exist are the emails themselves, in our company mailbox and in the mailbox you submitted.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. It passes through the following processors, strictly to operate the site and deliver the emails above:

Loading a font this way sends your browser's IP address to Google as a normal part of the request — this happens on every page load, not just when you submit a form, and applies to all visitors, not only those who fill out a form. Google does not receive any of the form data itself.

6. How long we keep it

Draft placeholder — confirm before publishing. We haven't yet set a formal retention schedule for this mailbox. Until one is adopted, treat submitted emails as retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the inquiry or complete the hiring process, after which they should be deleted. If you want a firm number here (e.g. "12 months" or "3 years"), that's a business/legal call, not something to source from the code — decide it and we'll update this section.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

request access to the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request erasure of your data;
object to or request restriction of our processing;
request a copy of your data in a portable format; and
withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

8. Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies and does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. If that changes in the future (e.g. we add analytics), this policy will be updated first and, if required by law, a cookie consent notice will be added before any non-essential cookie is set.

9. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
